I wanted to paint realistically in Photoshop while emphasizing a little bit of cartoon and anime style into it.

Question(s)
How is the concept? How is the shading and lighting?...do you like it |o vvvv o| *rawr*?


Concept
I wanted to draw a girl in a "punk'ish" outfit but in a dress. I also had a title in mind already which deals with the word, Sakura. And to me, the word is pretty much the pink'ness in the digital artwork and obviouisly the sakura petals scattered on the ground.

Haha, somehow, the final result makes me want to call this, Peach Princess or something because of the pink and the attitude that my girl character is emitting.

Process
First created using paper + eraser on 8 x 11 inch white paper. Scanned it. Photoshop'ed it....and vio'la!

p.s. the colors somehow appear to be dark or bright (high contrast'ed) when I viewed it on a different monitor...'cuz you see, I have a laptop and it can only go so bright which is dim compared to other monitors i was viewed on.
