Drowning Lessons

I had this idea for a long time. I wanted to portray a little boy standing in the middle of the ocean while holding his victims hands as they drown. But instead, this boy turns out to look like Light Yagami (Death Note). And what the heck, I decided to draw in one of his victims as Misa Amane or something only because her hair helps this picture stand out a bit more.

Can you believe it, I did this all on one layer in Photosho CS3...well, two layers with one being the BG which was only filled in white and is rarely used. The other is a drawing layer which I filled EVERYTHING with it.

The ripples looked funny when I started drawing them in...but it turned out okay as I added more same with the watery drips.

Oh yeah, in case you are wondering, those black dot-like objects floating in the ocean are floating corpses^^
